We would like you to follow the 6 rules below so that everyone can have a good time at Ebisubashi-suji Shopping Street.
Please remember these 6 rules as a general rule, such as eating while walking and garbage disposal.
In Japan, smoking is prohibited except in the designated smoking area.
A penalty fee will be imposed if you smoke on Ebisubashi-suji Shopping Street and Midosuji Street.
Therefore, please use the designated smoking area at Namba Square.
Please check the Osaka Prefectural Government website for the smoking rule.
Both Namba and Dotonbori area are pedestrian-oriented towns, so cyclists should push a bike or go slow on the side of a pedestrian road on a big street.
Parking a bicycle is prohibited, and a bicycle parked on the street could be removed and stored by the local administration, so please use bicycle parking.
1.Eating while walking is not good. Please make sure you eat food in front of the shop where you bought it.
2.Garbage will be collected by the shop where you bought the food, so please hand over the garbage to the shop.
3.Please do NOT eat food other than where you bought the food (such as another shop on the opposite side or where there is no shop).
4.Please do not enter the shop while eating or dirty products in the shop.
In Japan, usually there is no garbage box on the street due to the risk of disposing of hazardous waste and from a security perspective.
Please make sure the garbage is collected by the shop where you did shopping or take it back to your accommodation.
Please avoid staying in the group or in large numbers in Namba and Dotonbori, since the roads, especially in the shopping street and restaurant districts, are narrow. "Namba Square" is a great place as a meeting point.
In Osaka, walking on the left is a custom.
